I don't know for sure, but I would guess that the recent poor weather and the expected poor weather for Thursday and Friday are the main reasons.

I Think the reason was because the NCAA will only allow a window of time for scrimmage games and they count more than regular practices! I was not at the game but I bet the Coaches just watched yesterday. Am I right? By the way, this is my first response on Hognation! How did Holloway do? By the way, HELLO DALE!!!!!!!!

I think you're right on the NCAA stuff. That's so confusing though that I'm not sure how they figure those days.
Yes, the coaches were just watching yesterday.
Trey looked good. He was the pitching coach for the first part of the game before he put himself in. The Cardinal team had scored three runs in the sixth when Trey came in and got the last out. He gave up a leadoff double in the seventh before striking out Parker and Dugger. He got Hode to fly out to end the inning.
