Is there a website for the team? Left field? I knew coming in last year he was listed and an infielder/outfielder. I guess being able to play more than one position helps your stock.

Well they also have Pedro Alverez on that team and he'd no slouch at 3rd

He's no slouch, but I have to believe that Logan is the best defensive option at third. Maybe they can't relocate Pedro as well as Logan.

He is absolutely the better defensive option, though not as highly touted (for reasons I know not). I also say Pedro is not as versatile, defensively, as the reason he is at third and not Logan.

Logan had another nice night on Friday. Playing LF, he went 2-3 with 3 runs scored, a walk and a SB. USA won 5-0 on a combined 1 hit shutout.

May I just say that it sure would be nice if TEAM USA played where more of the USA fans could actually see them in action.
and just why doesn't ESPN show any of these games? or will they?

May I just say that it sure would be nice if TEAM USA played where more of the USA fans could actually see them in action. and just why doesn't ESPN show any of these games? or will they? Unfortunately, there just isn't much interest in following them with so much other baseball going on at all pro levels, summer college leagues, Legion, Little League, etc. My guess is that is why ESPN doesn't cover it. Also, it is cheaper to put reruns of the 1996 swimming and diving west central southeast regionals on ESPNU than to actually cover a live event. When they played in Joplin last year, there were probably 500 or so people there. About 50-75 locals, some of the players' families, and a large group of Hog fans. The new USA Baseball training center just opened this year, so they are using it every opportunity they have this summer.
