Did he really say 'crap,' or are you censoring it for us?
BTW, he did look pretty FULL of something to me.

No censoring. It got pretty bad after he got tossed, but not so much before.

Don't know much about that home plate ump other that he missed a few calls. At least in my "90 feet away and to the side" opinion. I would like an explanation, from him, how anyone can alow someone to scream right up their nose and not grap them by the neck. I hope that lesson of self control isn't lost on the 1000s of kids that were there Saturday instead of the lesson "if you don't get what you want you snap".

Jones did not do anything wrong within the rules and he got punished by the umpire. It's not about getting what he wanted because obviously the umpire was not going to change the call. It's about the umpire being unfair. DVH did nothing wrong. Absolutely nothing.

So what you are saying is teach the 1000s of kids there to not stick up for yourself or your players/mates/friends??? I think that may be one of the things wrong with these softie kids we have these days, Houston is that you?

So when something is unfair you snap? When you just don't get your way you don't snap. When the cashier gives you the wrong change back (unfair) you snap; when your child gets disciplined at school for something another student did (unfair) you snap; when you aren't rented an apartment because of the color of your skin (unfair) you snap? ? Is that the most effective way to stick up for what is right? I'm just saying the most impressive thing to me and I hope others was not the snapping but the restraint. None of us would let someone go off on them like that without losing it ourself. And by the way, its Mr. or Coach Nutt to you. (how did you know?) And I guarantee you now of those kids on that team are softies.

Even the players said it fired them up.

Not really sure why I am replying to such a ridiculous post, because you obviously have a hidden agenda, but to compare a baseball game and the outside world, is RIDICULOUS! Quit wasting your time posting about nonsense.
