Isn't he the guy who transfered from TTech to Navarro JC, then has had his last of 3 appeals to be allowed to transfer to Texas turned down (another Big 12/8/SWC team), and now is going to be a Razorback pitcher?

....he is?
If he's at a juco how are his requests to transfer to Texas being turned down? Turned down by whom?

....he is? If he's at a juco how are his requests to transfer to Texas being turned down? Turned down by whom? Big 12/8/SWC rules state once you've transferred from one Big 12/8/SWC school, you can't come back and transfer to a different Big 12/8/SWC team. As I hear it.

That seems stupid. Tech should have the option of allowing or not allowing the transfer. And maybe it's a case where they want to do that. But to never let it happen is silly.

Nox, where did you get this information? Has it been reported anywhere?
He set TCL strikeout record this summer. 85Ks in 61 innings.

Sorry, Charlie. Gotta keep that to me own self.
The info is right - I may be a bit off on the exact details.
But he's coming here!

Heard this myself today. Email from a friend. Dude's in the know usually.
Also heard that the coaches are feeling pretty good about the group we are going to have for 2007. Crisp cool weather is just around the corner and so is Fall Ball!

He was 5-2, 2.21, 61 innings, 85 k's in the TCBL this summer.
At Navarro this year he was named the region pitcher of the year after going 9-2, 1.47, 73.1 innings. 73 k's.
We've really hit Navarro hard the past year or two!
This would be a HUGE pickup!!

This is a great shot in the arm after losing Seidel to the pros. It's doubly sweet that he's coming here over Texas.
With those strike out numbers, he could be starter or a true, slam-the-door-shut closer.
Kudos to Nox for the inside scoop. Dare I say - an extra shake in the tail feather.
