Former Arkansas pitcher Christian Kowalchuk has been named the Razorbacks' volunteer assistant coach.
Kowalchuk played at Arkansas in 2009 and 2010, and has been a graduate assistant coach the last two seasons. Kowalchuk will work with the Razorbacks' pitchers and outfielders.

With Kowalchukâs new position on the Razorbacks baseball staff, he will be the first Canadian to Coach Div.1 Baseball in the Southeastern Conference.
