well post-graduate job that is, ;D I know I've told some of you already via text message, but I am pretty pumped about this so I decided to tell the rest of the board. My first job will be working at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Florida which is where the St. Louis Cardinals and Florida Marlins have spring training Of course this means I will miss Razorback baseball season at Baum , but I am still very excited about this opportunity. After spring training, I will have the option of coming back home and searching for an assistant job after gaining this much needed experience, or staying on in Jupiter for the Minor league season for the Jupiter Hammerheads (Cliff's first minor league team). I applied for an assistant groundskeeper job with the San Antonio Missions, but was told that while I had the education they were looking for, I lacked the experience they were looking for. However the Head groudskeeper was nice enough to put me in touch with the guy in Jupiter. I have moved back home since graduating in December and that is why I haven't been on Hognation much, but I move down to Jupiter on Feb. 15th (pitchers and catchers first workout is the 18th) and they have good internet there, so I will be able to follow the Hogs and be on Hognation. Guess I'll be one of the ones about Razorvision Anyway, hopefully one day I can end up with the Head Groundskeeper job in Fayetteville , but until then I will see how long it takes Albert Pujols to file for a restraining order.

1st day recap
stadium is ok, I've seen better....*cough* Baum *cough*
my bosses are younger than I expected. think we're going to get along great
got a sunburn while kara texted me about it being 22 degrees and snowing.
living with a doctor and 2 other people. Pretty sweet pad
The McDonalds here is too fancy for this country boy.
I discovered "round-abouts" and got lost on the way back to the stadium.
cool things I saw today: Hanley Ramirez, Hanley Ramirez's car, baseballs from 2008 all star game and World Baseball classic, held a broken bat that was a pro model with Ryan Ludwick's name engraved.
Got a tour of the 13 fields, did a little work. Pretty good first day
The GM went to Miss St, one of the assistants also went to Miss St., the other assistant went to SMS, one of my roommates went to Ole Miss, the other went to Ball State. The doctor went to Cornell.....show off

met one guy in a Razorback shirt. He was unloading the Cardinals gear off an 18 wheeler. He said "Hey Razorback!" Apparently he used to work there in Jupiter but now works with the big league club
