Vote for Drizzle! My bestest friend and the clear choice for the 2009 Poster of the Year!

Thank you, bestest friend, for nominating me for this honor; and thank you everyone else for even considering me.
For the past year my baseball-watching life has been difficult. Spoiled by the presence of winning baseball down the road at Baum Stadium, I was uprooted and forced into a city that lacks the shame and common decency of prohibiting the Cubs from calling it home (sorry, Ben). Perhaps because of that, when baseball season rolled around last year I decided to make this board a more important internet location. The results are better than I could have hoped.
The information provided by those closer to the program--closer to the team, the coaches, and the field--is more useful than what I could bring, so I leave that to others. Instead, seeking out my own little niche on the board, I have dedicated myself to a vastly more important goal: bringing mirth and joy to all who visit. My record on this is very clear, and the board is littered with the results. Likewise for the game chats my goal is humor and amusement, and those who participated can judge my contributions there.
The board is great, but it could be better. I lay the charge to improve at my own feet, for how better to inspire improvement than to strive for it one's self? As poster of the year, I will work as hard as I can to make everyone laugh even more often than they currently do. I will seek out the tensest threads and insert jokes to make everyone involved say "wait a minute, why are we arguing?" And I will work even harder to be in the game chats and threads bringing mirth to all.
But the quest for improvement involves us all, and so I challenge everyone. There is one thing that will make this board unquestionably better. There is one thing that will bring joy to all of the children and even some of the adults. There is one thing that will unite us all. What is this thing?
It is quite simply this: more Seinfeld references.
Thank you again everyone. Don't forget to tip your moderators (thanks Charlie, and here in Free for All, PH2!).

This is why I nominated Drizzle. The clear choice for 2009 Poster of the Year and quite possibly the pick for Poster of the Decade?

They can kick the Cubs out as far as I'm concerned. I am done waiting until Next Year.

I would like to note how I was left off the list despite getting a nomination (not that I think I am deserving this year). I mainly feel for Heath who can not write a wonderful dissertation on how I am a worthy statistician and I am a respected analyst (and a man after his own heart), but I am his second choice for some conjured reason to the likes of Drizzle, Jeep, OHBG, etc.
Forever there shall be an asterisk until Heath can give the seven+ reasons you should vote for someone over me.

See and without the proper time to analyze, I was going to give you my vote this year. Hoping maybe to get you a second place finish overall. Maybe if work is slow tomorrow, I'll do some analysis.

Some would call it a courtesy mention. Some a sympathy vote. Either way, someone was just throwing you a bone. You take it and call out a great poster and serious contender for not wasting valuable time writing propaganda for your no shot campaign? Just sad. I can't believe the moderator of this forum allowed this.

Forever there shall be an asterisk until Heath can give the seven+ reasons you should vote for someone over me. Reason #1 = This post. Reason #2 = Drizzle deserves it. Reasons #3-7 = See #1.
