I'm voting for HogLuver. Just a few reasons why: I'd like to think that I speak for most of this board: 1. I think we need to clear this poll and start again. 2. I think Bobby needs to be reprimanded for premature polling. 3. It ain't early no more. 4. I just saved a bunch of money on Regional tickets. 5. Good, solid baseball is kinda fun to watch....even if it is displayed by an opponent. Now the U of A / GameWatcher is piling on: On the live stats board, they show ORU vs. the Lady Razorbacks I've got good news and bad news: The good news is that we are leading the nation. The bad news is that the category is baserunning mistakes. Nox in the middle of a controversy? Are you sure you have the right guy? Well, I don't really care if bouncing around a beach ball during a Hog football game is our tradition or if we just borrowed it from someone else......whatever the case, that tradition must carry on. If you think I'm being sarcastic, you are absolutely correct. I can't wait for that ball to get near me. I'll be plowing over old ladies and children with my pocket knife locked and loaded. Breaking News !!!! When you have 2 strikes and the pitcher is ahead in the count, a curve ball in the dirt is coming and it is damn near impossible to hit. Keep swingin' at 'em boys.....maybe one will bounce up high enough for you to golf it into the outfield. We should strike out less, as it would next to impossible to strike out more. Wanted: Pitchers....and about 4 more indentical brothers of Andy Wilkens. I'm not buying tickets to Omaha in 2009, but I hope to see Hogs there in 2010 or 2011.

Remember that voting closes on Wednesday at 4:38 p.m. Please don't take this the wrong way, I mean no ill-will, I come in peace. I just want everyone to have a chance to vote. The poll above states that voting closes at 5:38pm, your post above states 4:38pm. Could you clarify for me please. Thank you. My goal in 2009 - to be a kinder, gentler, HogBusGuy. If I've offended any, please accept my apology!

HeathHog- I am once again honored to be nominated and surprised that I have a few votes. I really didn't remember posting much, but a search of my post history shows nearly 700 posts over the past year. I guess my view is distorted by only 100 being in the last 4 months. Also among those posts, there isn't much in depth analysis or stats. I don't think I saw one table. So while I'm thankful for those that vote for me, I can't vote for myself.
Charlie and Dale- Probably unfair, but my vote will never go to them as administrators. They do get my sincere gratitude and appreciation for keeping this site going and finding articles from all over the place about former, current, and future hogs.
Hognoxious - I know I'll be hearing you, but as with last year, your best analysis is not against the gray background of this board but belted across TPI. I greatly enjoy TPI, but I don't think it counts towards "poster" of the year. Keep up the good work, you've already won once anyway.
Bruinstyle2001®- Always seems to be my runner up choice. Provides good statistics and analysis, but edged out by someone. He probably would have one if he didn't lead a conspiracy to overthrow "Minnie the Moocher." HogLuver- I searched through his posts and Dale has already pulled some highlights. He lead the board in the most important category-- humor. That's why he gets my vote for poster of the year.
