Yeah, but she needs better finishes to get her card without having to go to Q-School and also to entice those last couple of exemptions out of folks... She had a nice 67 in the 3rd round, but the 2nd and 4th rounds killed her... :?

After the first round of the Q-School regional, Stacy is at -2, four shots behind the leader but tied for 8th... Nice start! Oh and she's tied with someone named Wie...  The leader is Sun-Ju Ahn, which is no surprise if you follow the Korean LPGA... - Bert |

if you follow the Korean LPGA... Sun-Ju Ahn is one of the top two or three players on the KLPGA, along with Ji-Yai Shin (who won the British Open on the LPGA tour this year)... Not surprising she's doing well here... That said, Go Stacy! - Bert |

Stacy shot -1 for today to stand at -3... She's at T6 now and the Top 70 after today make the cut, so she's in awesome shape... Top 30 after Friday advance to the finals in December...
Leader is still Sun-Ju Ahn who shot another -6 today to go to -12 with a 5 shot lead with some players still on the course... Good grief!

Stacy's playing in this week's Longs Drug tourney in Danville, CA... She finished the first round at -1. The round's still going, but she's about 3-4 shots off the lead right now... As long as she doesn't blow up in round 2 like she did at the last tourney, she should be in good shape to get a paycheck... But she's gonna have to keep going low to get a decent payday (i.e., enough to get her qualified for the tour next year without having to go to Q-School)... Go Stacy! - Bert |

Not the best finish in the world, but Sunday was brutal on player's scores... Lots of full-time players missed the cut, so this is a decent finish... She pretty much has to win or runner-up at the final event for her (in Hawai'i) to make the tour without Q-School...

In the final round, she shot a course record 66 to vault on up there... Sweet!
This means she'll definitely have to go to Q-School Finals... Best of luck to her!
