all new videos on the big screen! They were all pretty good although I am surprised they stuck with the "space" theme for the intro video. I don't really "get" that whole concept, I guess. I am glad they put in some more recent stuff, too. During the introduction of the starters, the biggest cheers were for McFadden, Hillis....and Tejada. lol The crowd was pumped until we had to settle for a field goal and it got pretty quiet. We did get loud at times especially in the 3rd quarter when some stuff got going. There were 3 or 4 nice Arkansas-Razorbacks cheers that just sort of randomly started. The Hog Call to begin the game was loud and awesome.

Stupid wave! Why'd that get started when our defense was trying to make an important stop?

Stupid wave! Why'd that get started when our defense was trying to make an important stop? Because despite the new alcohol policy which tries to make them more sober, the students are still essentially clueless. I did enjoy "echo" while we were on defense.

The only thing I get about the space intro on the big board is maybe Arkansas Football is getting the planets alined for something big. You never know what could happen.

I'm reserving hotels for the SEC and National championship games right now, because you know. I'm gonna be there.

I've never really understood the planet thing either.

I've never really understood the planet thing either. Well before the highlights weren't planets. it was just like you were picking up satellite feeds light years away and as you got closer (weaving your way through planets, etc) they came more current. I don't understand why they take spherical planet shapes now. But I do like that they added more recent highlights and I still enjoy the zoom down to the tunnel.

Right before Mcfadden connected with Tuck for the TD, our fans were screaming their lungs out and our QB is frantically waving his arms trying to shut them up!

McFadden already turning heads in 2007Darren McFadden is a leading candidate for the Heisman Trophy, so he's clearly one of college football's top players this season.
Troy coach Larry Blakeney would go several steps further.
"That guy is hands-down the best football player I've ever seen," Blakeney said.

I was more proud about how many showed up than about how loud they were. It's usually not packed for a no-name non-con game, even if it is opening day.
