so I want y'all to know that this Saturday will be my first football game in 3 years. I traditionally despise football for a variety of reasons, but you-know-who has encouraged me to try again to like it. I'm nervous!
So, other than the actual game itself, can you all tell me what are your favorite things about going to a Razorback football game??

atmosphere, tail-gaiting, the band, mascot crowd surfing, beach ball (only during pre-game), Bubba Hog, The video that shows the MOM right before the Hogs run through the "A". That one gives me chill bumps more than you know. Singing Oh lord it's hard to be humble! Shaking the bleachers with "William Tell" and everything else that goes on.....

My favorite part about the game is hanging out with friends just outside the stadium for hours or days tossing a football, playing cards, or just whatever. Then the 30 minutes before the gates open where everyone starts trying to push their way to the front is terrible. But it's shortly followed by the 30 second dash to get your seats which is quite a rush. Then another 2 hours of hanging out with friends before the Band/cheerleaders enter a stuff starts happen. That stuff will be replaced this year though as I have decided not to use student seats and move on to my regular seats located in the South Endzone row 2. The advantage is I can remedy two of the downsides, 1) is waking up at 6AM (which is actually kind of cool to get to the stadium before all the hustle and bustle starts) 2) is missing all the games around the country before we play. also now I can still hang with my friends in what more resembles a tailgate atmosphere except I believe we will be doing that at the IFH. Anyway then, i'll agree with everything cl4mvp says, except beach balls and sometimes I think our band slacks too much and I don't care about halftime usually. But when we win, I love the team coming over to sing the song especially when a certain coach climbs the band ladder. Then Humble.

Sitting in the regular seats is definitely different than the student section. My favorite part of the non-game is when the band comes into the stadium, and the pregame show. I pay very little attention to cheerleaders, band, big screen, etc. during the actual game.

All students (who wish to sit in the student section) should be sure and have a valid student ID.
They will be scanning them.

All students (who wish to sit in the student section) should be sure and have a valid student ID. They will be scanning them. Scanning them starting with the Kentucky Game. www.thetraveleronline.com/home/NO Student, No Entry - Headline The scanners won't be available for Saturday's game against Troy. The scanners arrived Wednesday, but officials weren't able to educate ushers in time, Gray said. The scanners should be in place for Arkansas' Sept. 22 home game against Kentucky, Gray said.
