Daly dose John Daly's "My Life In & Out of the Rough" was a compendium of extreme, shocking or otherwise interesting numbers. A sample:
65: The number of pounds he once lost in a three-month period, a Daly best.
35: The number of yards Daly covered with a successful (barefoot) field goal during halftime of a "Monday Night Football" game in 1992.
18: The score he made on the par-5 sixth hole at the 1998 Bay Hill Invitational.
17: The number of tacos he ate to celebrate his 17th birthday in 1983. (Dessert was a double chocolate soda and a Whopper with cheese.)
21.3: The average number of seconds Daly takes over a putt. The PGA Tour average is nearly twice that.
15: The number of Diet Cokes he consumes per day (516 gallons per year).
55: The amount of dollars, in millions, Daly estimates as his net loss at casinos. -- E. Michael Johnson
