Knile Davis had four carries for one-yard in Sunday's Week 10 win over the Bills.
He added one catch for five yards. Davis didn't have a role behind Jamaal Charles again this week. He has 106 carries, 411 yards, and four touchdowns through nine games and remains one of the top handcuffs.

Knile Davis rushed five times for 10 yards and a score Week 11 against the Seahawks.
Davis' four-yard touchdown plunge came after Jamaal Charles danced through the Seahawks defense for a 47-yard run to set the Chiefs up with first and goal. Davis now have five rushing touchdowns on the season. Davis is a must handcuff for Charles owners.

Knile Davis rushed twice for two yards in Kansas City's Week 12 loss to the Raiders.
He wasn't targeted in the passing game. Making a West Coast road trip on a short week, the Chiefs bafflingly dialed up only 24 rushes against the worst team in the league. It quite likely cost them the game. With Jamaal Charles running at an All-Pro level, Davis won't be on the RB3 radar against the Broncos' elite run defense in Week 13.

Knile Davis was held without a carry in Week 13. Davis has eight touches over the last three games. He's just a handcuff to Jamaal Charles.

Knile Davis rushed nine times for 11 yards and a score and caught a 70-yard touchdown pass Week 15 against the Raiders.
Jamaal Charles was knocked out of the game by a big hit inside the Raiders' five late in the third quarter. Davis entered the game and scored on a three-yard rush the next play. Charles was cleared of a concussion on the sidelines, but Davis ended up closing out the blowout win. Davis' best play of the game was a 70-yard catch-and-run touchdown in which he simply ran away from the Raiders' defense. Davis is nothing but a handcuff for Jamaal Charles, but he would be an RB1 if Charles ever went down.

Knile Davis rushed twice for two yards in Kansas City's Week 16 loss to the Steelers, adding a nine-yard reception.
One week after featuring against the Raiders, Davis was mothballed as the Chiefs lost a must-win game. Coach Andy Reid dialed up just 12 non-quarterback rushes as Alex Smith was allowed to throw the ball 45 times. Davis will be off the DFS radar in Week 17 against the Chargers.

Knile Davis rushed nine times for 23 yards in Sunday's Week 17 win over the Chargers.
Davis got more playing time this week with Jamaal Charles not fully healthy. He finishes with 134 carries, 463 yards (3.46 YPC) and seven total touchdowns this season. Despite showing starting ability behind Charles, Davis doesn't project for a major increase in his role. He'll return as the top handcuff to Charles in 2015.

Knile Davis had two catches for 17 yards in Kansas City's third preseason game.
Davis played behind Jamaal Charles, but didn't have any carries. Charcandrick West also worked with the first team and finished as the Chiefs leading rusher. Davis remains the top handcuff to Charles. Through three preseason games, Davis has 15 carries for 52 yards (3.46 YPC).

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Knile Davis will be inactive Sunday against the Broncos. Davis opened the year as Jamaal Charles' backup but has since fallen behind Charcandrick West and Spencer Ware. West will be close to an every-down back on Sunday, though Denver's swarming run defense (they've allowed the third-fewest rushing yards per game) should keep him in check.

The Miami Herald reports the Dolphins have been talking to the Chiefs about acquiring a running back.
By process of elimination, we can guess the talks are centered around Knile Davis, who was already reported to be on the block. Jamaal Charles is recovering from a torn ACL, while Charcandrick West and Spencer Ware were just signed to extensions. The Dolphins are absolutely desperate to bolster a running back corps that's currently led by second-year durability question mark Jay Ajayi. Davis has occasionally flashed during his three years in Kansas City, but disappointed more often than not. He owns a wheezing 3.34 career YPC. His addition would not preclude Miami from aggressively addressing running back in the draft. We doubt Davis fetches more than a conditional seventh round pick.

Packers acquired RB Knile Davis from the Chiefs.
The details of the deal have yet to be leaked, but they likely involve a late-round pick. With James Starks out a month, the Packers needed some depth behind banged-up starter Eddie Lacy. Davis is unlikely to be ready to contribute Thursday night, meaning Ty Montgomery should once again see plenty of snaps in the backfield.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Knile Davis is "part of the game plan" this week.
"He's a natural football player, someone that's played a lot of football, was successful obviously in college and he's been in the league," McCarthy said. "He's very bright. He's making progress." Davis could play more than the five snaps he saw against the Bears, but the Packers should continue to rely on Ty Montgomery as their primary back in a pass-heavy attack. That makes Davis tough to trust even in a week with six teams on bye.

Bears signed RB Knile Davis.
Davis played under coach Matt Nagy when he was the Chiefs' offensive coordinator in 2016. The 26-year-old went to training camp with the Steelers last summer but failed to make the 53-man roster. He gives the Bears some depth behind lead ball-carrier Jordan Howard and pass-catcher Tarik Cohen.
