thats why I have always said beat me 20-0 so I can go to bed and not say WHAT IF all night...you know the players will be...also Pratt was fine in the ninth he gave up a bleeder into right...sac...grounder to 2nd...then the bleeder back to him...u cant ask for more then that

You have to wonder what would have happened had Eibner been brought in earlier. Ahhhhh......what might have been.  Pratt threw good, in the 9th, the leadoff single was a weak groundball hit to the right spot and on the game-tying hit, Pratt jammed a very good hitter and he reached with a swinging bunt...that's baseball. It was a good baseball game but it really sucks for us right now. |

pratt was throwing well, but if eibner can pitch, you bring him in.

No sir you are correct - I have no problem with our pitchers - they kept us in the game despite the walks & errors

Pratt did do a good job, but when Eibner first came in, he was really bringing the heat, and was very sharp. The announcers harped on it so long, I just wonder what would have happened.  |

But crap if we make a play in the 2nd, 9th, we win it is all about making plays. That is baseball, if you make aplay less pitch count less the batters come around. That is why you can't let people on base for free.

Really the only hard hit balls were Calhoun's HR & the game winning single in the 12th by Marrero - Nothing in the 9th was hit hard at all |

exactly....really this loss was a team loss
Pitching: to many walks
Fielding: 2 unearned runs
Base running: 2 many outs on the bases
hitting: total shutdown after Vinson's HR

That is why you can't let people on base for free. 1st of all - 10 months?? - what took you so long for your 1st post - welcome to Hognation 2nd - ASU had over 17 LOB so we did a good job not allowing those free bases to hurt us when ASU could have beat us 15-6 instead of 7-6 & in extra innings |
