Wash is lazy, doesn't for boards, Delvon does but doesn't have the offensive talent that Wash does. I want to see more Glen Bryant, it might just be because he's blacker than a black hole, but I'd like to see more of him on the court. Farmer and Nobles have absolutely hit the wall, need to find some way to contribute b/c right now, we need them. I know Pel says they try all sorts of ways to get Rotnei the ball, but all I'm seeing is that cut where he's running away from the basket and that accomplishes nothing, am I just missing something?

after watching them yesterday I actually think with the SEC being down that they could win enuff to get into the NIT or that other Tournament (not the big dance) they need to get that RPI up though

The only way we make it to the NIT is if we have a winning record, the only way we have a winning record is if we have a winning record in conference, which I think would put us winning the West, which I think puts us in the NCAAT. This team is NCAA or Bust and I don't think that Bust is really a failure for this team, unless its because we go back to playing like we did vs Florida and the 1st half of UK

I think we finish 2nd in the West and get in the NIT. It would be nice to get some home games and make it to New York

I know other then the NCAA Tournament we have 3 others...do you have to be over .500 to get in them or at least .500 ?? I think any kind of postseason for this team would be great

If we got the NIT route, we might end up meeting UNC with the way they're playing. UNC vs Ark in Bud Walton? That would be awesome!

When we blew the lead, I thought "great, here's the same old hogs we knew."
Miss St won, so we're back in a tie with them. They have UK on Tuesday.

I know other then the NCAA Tournament we have 3 others...do you have to be over .500 to get in them or at least .500 ?? I think any kind of postseason for this team would be great NCAA- 65 teams. Pre-determined sites. Looking more and more like we'll need to win the SEC Tournament. Winning the West may do it if they give us considerations for Fortson. NIT- 32 teams. First 3 rounds at home sites. Final 4 in New York. Selection Procedures don't say anything about being .500. CollegeInsider.com Tournament- 16 teams. Home sites. Eligiblity Participating teams must finish the regular season with a winning record against division I opponents. Teams whose conferences have less than fifty-percent (50%) of their teams participating in the NCAA and NIT tournaments will be given higher priority for selection into the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament. (Seems to be more about giving the little guy a chance, not mediocre big conference schools) College Basketball Invitational- 16 teams. Home sites. Championship is a best of 3 series. (Warning about link- it has a video on the right which restarts every time yo navigate to a new page) The CBI doesn't seem to have eligibility standards. LAst years champion Oregon State finished the season 18-18 (7-11 PAc 10) even after the wins in the Tornament. With a respectable showing down the stretch we shold have a shot at either the NIT or the CBI. We're still playing for the real tournament though.

Hogs throttle South Carolina 92-79
C4 flirted with a triple-double (19 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists) and Powell dominated

next 2 games are the biggest the Hogs have had in the last few years. Both winnable BUT both on the road. Win them both and they will be playing somewhere in the postseason
