136 was mine. I feel pretty good about that score!

And hey, Dale... Nice start and finish... What happened in between? Thanks. Yeah, I had three frames where I picked up 8 with the first shot and had bad splits left. A little ugly in an otherwise awesome day.

You're still ahead of me... My best is somewhere around 180...

Well, I've never been one to pass up an opportunity to brag so here goes. I bowled in a league for 4 years in the 80's and ended up with an avg. of 187 and a high game of 279. I started back this year after a 20+ year retirement. For the first 4-5 weeks of league bowling, I could hardly walk the next day due to different injuries. (ankle, knee, hamstring, calf, shin, old age in general) Thankfully this has improved. After the first half of the season I have my avg. up to 192 and my high game since returning is 276. (3 strikes, 6-spare, then 8 more strikes) I am next to the lowest avg. on my team. 212, 208, 202, 192, 187

Well, last night was league night. One of my teammates rolled a 300 game and a different one had a 279. It was the second 300 on our team this year as a different guy bowled one about a month ago. I had never witnessed one before this year and now I've seen 2. Talk about pressure, for the last frame everybody around quits bowling and gathers around your lane.
As for me, I bowled 206, 135, 212 to drop my average down to 191.

Wow. I can't even imagine rolling a 300. The nerves it must take. I can barely roll three strikes in a row. ;D

Bowled for the first time in about 4-5 months three weeks ago. I averaged 156 for the five games we bowled. At that point we were starting to get sore so we called it off for the day.
