I have confidence but very slim, Schmidt will return to make himself a higher pick and get about a millon more. Todd I believe will return because with one more year with Jorn he'll but outstanding.

I love your enthusiasm, but none of the 3 pitchers will be returning. You don't get drafted in the first 2 rounds and come back for your senior year. Wouldn't be a smart decision at all, regardless of how much I'd like for them to come back as well.

Schmidt comes back and gets alot better, fixes those negatives, and he's the David Price of this year except better, and if the salary cap rises again, that's another 1-3 millon he'll make then this year. Todd should've gone higher and I think he liked Arkansas.

I have a feeling there should be a sarcasm tag on that post.

well, Schmidt and Todd will be up in the majors in no less than 3 years (1 for Schmidt, 3 at max for Todd) Todd is all of a sudden the heir apparent for Jason Isringhausen (sp) as the closer, Schmidt on the other hand will take one of the old-farts spots in San Diego, probably David Wells.
I feel sorry for Price, the Devil Rays, honestly.
Duke needs alot of pollishing before he's ready and I think the Pirates can do that for him.
I can't concentrate because of woopig's avatar, it's scaring me

Well, as for my last post... No body told me that they kept going after #34. I thought 34 is first round then it's over for now and come back tomorrow. I am totally new to this whole "baseball" thing. By that I mean the substance of the game beyond "Go Red Team" and hot dogs. I think I would have kept it going in the background for the rest of the day. It was neat to have guys coming in my office to get the updates on picks and talking stats, though. I think I'm hooked.

I remember the Card's selected Miami's closer last year with an early pick but I don't remember his name, if he signed or how he's done since then.
