I was thinking that maybe we could raise a little money for HogRyder's ambulance ride. They aren't cheap. We could pass around a hat this weekend. Once again, you guys come up with a good idea that should be obvious to everyone. I'd be more than happy to help with this.

Bears are officially dead to me. All bears Kyle? I was thinking that maybe we could raise a little money for HogRyder's ambulance ride. They aren't cheap. We could pass around a hat this weekend. Yes, Tran...All bears. This bear might be cute as can be, but the other bears ruined it for him. Not to mention, for all we know, inside of this bear could be a vicious predator waiting to come out and eat someone. Or plunk a person in the head. We just never know, sadly. On your other point, as Smittle has already said, that's a great idea. They are indeed not cheap, as my ride my freshman year was well over $500. I think most everyone would be more than happy to help out, as would I.

Will you have it there Sunday ? Hoping she'll be there after the 7th inning Sunday so we can give it to her. Mind you, I didn't say the box was made - just trying to help with ideas for the execution of Tran's excellent idea. If I am making it, that will be fine. Rest assured, no matter what form this takes: Any money given to any of the IFGuys or along the rowdy row over in 112(me) for the purpose of helping with HogRyder's ambulance costs will go to HogRyder.

- -"Free rides ain't free"- - ...they cost folks like you and me, and if you don't chip in your buck-o-five who will? Any money given to any of the IFGuys or along the rowdy row over in 112(me) for the purpose of helping with HogRyder's ambulance costs will go to HogRyder. Thank goodness that we have low overhead.

See, this is why I love being a razorback fan. We take care of our own. I will donate, but I don't know any of ya'll.
If ya'll don't mind, my daughter saw it last night and I just mentioned to her your ideas and she would like to make the box.

If ya'll don't mind, my daughter saw it last night and I just mentioned to her your ideas and she would like to make the box. I'll speak for me (I'll assume some of the rest of us will concur)... We'd love it if your daughter would make the box. Thank her for me - I will be glad to this weekend in person. You should feel blessed if you don't know with your own seared retinas the fat guy who goes by 'Hognoxious' over on the 3rd base dugout (who - to date - only has one elderly lady as a fan of his dancing) or the goobers known as the Infield Fly Guys who dance a little better and make the run from one dugout to the other at a better pace.... The HogBus should be first from Razorback Road along "Tailgater's Row" as you come in on Baum Drive. We would be more than happy to start the donations in your daughter's box, and the 4 or 5 tents closest to Gate A also will house fans who will be glad to donate. And we will be glad to make sure the box gets passed around. Thank you!

Good to hear, since she has already started on it. Look forward to meeting ya.

Oh, I have seen and HEARD you. The other are so-so, can't put faces to the names. I'm just a little shy. We can probably wear our IFG jerseys so that you can find us (and because we seem to be playing better when we are in them)--bright red with white trim, have names and numbers on the back: Heath, Drizzle, Y'all Hate Me, Bryce (have we ever done anything with that one?), OK, etc. Heath is easy to recognize--long black ponytail. I have no gimmick and a terrible public relations office, so no one can pick me out of a crowd, so don't worry about it. Regardless, I am definitely a fan of someone else making the box, as my crafts abilities are sorely lacking. Thank her for me, and if I do meet y'all Friday, I'll thank her in person as well.

I heard she has to get some stitches and has a fracture of the bone above her eye. Her vision in that eye isn't expected to return to normal for about a month. I don't know if she will be at any of the games this weekend.
But we can still take up a collection and get it to her.
Please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

There appeared to be several of us checking this thread until the wee hours of the morning hoping to get a report... ...I'm gonna stick with my hopeful expectation of seeing her Sunday.

I'll first send along my well wishes to HogRyder and hope she gets back to the ballpark soon. Then thank hogballer's daughter for constructing the box. I'm sure it will be better than anything we would have constructed. Obviuosly, you'll recognize Hognoxiuos from having heard him previously. As for finding the IFG, Drizzle has given some helpful hints. You can also just compare with my avatar . Actually, for reference HogNamedKyle (AKA Ya'll Hate Me) is the one in glasses on Hognoxious's avatar and Drizzle is the one on the right. And as for Bryce's jersey, it continues to hang in the living room of the Infield Fly House (Otherwise known as where Jim and I live, where Kyle used to live before he became a home-owning Commie who thinks he's better than us).

I was a few seats in front of HogRyder last night, and that ball came in fast. I didn't have enough time to reach up for it (not that my reflexes are anything to brag about). I believe the batter was #25 Dallas Hord when he K'd for the second out in the fifth.
I won't be able to make it to any games this weekend, I'll be at the Missouri State game on Wednesday if anyone can get my donation or hopefully you'll still take a collection on the 25th.

Everytime I mentioned this today to my students, they are like, "you knew her?" "How bad was it?"
It was a shot. there was no way to get out of the way of that one.
Hopefully she'll be OK, and back to watch the game she loves. g
