This got me to thinking. We've had some great athletes to play for the Hogs. Who do you think is the best?

We've had some fast guys but none as fast as Tanner English. Let me tell you how fast this guy is...
I know, I know...tired joke. Sorry.
The first name that comes to mind is actually Benintendi. Overall athleticism was superb.
We missed the boat on someone like Tyler Wilson pitching for us.

Of recent players I'm thinking Eibner.

Of recent players I'm thinking Eibner. That's a good one. Brian Anderson too.

Both Gentry and Robison deserve to be mentioned. Of course, Robison would have been better had he been able to hit, but he sure was fast.

I know I'm ancient but I would not sleep on Kevin McReynolds. I watched him run a 6.6 60 in baseball shoes and he was gliding. He could do anything he wanted.

Barry Lunney Jr. was an all-state QB in high school, all-state pitcher in high school, all-state in basketball, all at the highest classification. The shame is that he excelled in baseball but always wanted to a Razorback football player. He was an average qb in college but on the mound he was awesome. All that pounding he took in football and putting on weight and strength to play in the SEC as a football player coupled with 3 years he never touched the mound made him a shell of the pitcher he once was when he played after his senior season for the Diamond Hogs. I'll take Barry as the most athletic....
