Very encouraging news about Landon Simpson. If the freshmen pitchers are as good as advertised and the Hogs are able to replace this year's starters at shortstop and third, this may be a dangerous team next year.

Killian hasn't pitched much with the CNT. I guess DVH just took him to enjoy the experience unless he has an injury they are resting.

2014 Jayhawk League Top 10 Prospects (BA) 2. Max Hogan, 2b, El Dorado (Jr., Arkansas)
The lefthanded hitting Hogan played for McLennan (Texas) CC in 2014, hitting .359/.452/.541 and going 22-for-25 in stolen bases even though his pure speed rates below-average. His numbers were just as good in the Jayhawk League, where he continued to be a productive hitter. In his team’s final game of the season, he had no problems handling a lefthanded pitcher as he hit two line-drive doubles off the wall. Hogan, who is headed to Arkansas for next year, played quality defense at second base this summer, but he’s versatile enough to handle third base or the outfield as well.
