Lady'backs are 7-1 to start the season, but the crowds?
3,300 (kids school day), 700, 763, and 654..
We're winning the games but not attracting the crowds. It's sad that we have a a good team but barely anyone goes to see them (I'm guilty of it)

They do this every year, start out 16-2 or whatever and then not win a game when SEC play starts. They're going to have to prove to the fans that they can win the big ones first.
I think Saturday's game is $1 tickets though, so maybe the crowd will be better for that one.

Well we had a good season last year (22 wins, 4th round of the WNIT), and we have a veteran team back

no offense, but it's women's basketball. if you want to draw crowds, you better basically give tickets and other merchandise away like crazy (winning helps too, i guess). it's just not an attractive sport to most fans (including me).

Real season starts today. Be interesting to see if they can keep winning. Hopefully.

Is it safe to say that this will be Collen's last season?
I think his contract is about to run out. I was really hoping he would be able to turn this sinking ship around, but clearly that has not happened.

I'm wondering how much more time he'll be given. We made the WNIT Quarterfinals last year, but now we've started 0-3 in league play, losing all 3 games by 10+ points

The leadership in the U of A athletic department, I'm fairly certain, are businessmen and women first and foremost. Good business includes fielding winning programs while maintaining high standards for student athletes. One of those elements is missing.
I don't have much invested in the women's basketball team but I do follow them closely. I'll say that if Collen doesn't show on court results (i.e. improvement) by the SEC Tournament, then the powers that be will have already decided his fate.

Had more rebounds, less turnovers, and more steals vs Ole Miss.. but Ole Miss shot 48% from the field, and 50% from 3..
Rebs won 60-54.
Hogs fall to 0-4 in conference.
