April 16 vs. Mississippi State - Barrett Astin strikeouts out 10 in 3.1 innings of relief. May 5 vs. #4 Florida - DJ Baxendale throws a complete game (7 K's) in a 4-3 win. May 25 vs. Alabama (SEC-T) - Brandon Moore throws 8.1 innings in relief. May 27 vs. Alabama (SEC-T) - Ryne Stanek throws 7.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 2 hits. LSU. I thought after that game that we were going to be really really good. Turns out that LSU just wasn't any good.
