Heat signed G Patrick Beverley to a two-year, $1.2 million deal.
The Heat have been retaining Beverley's draft rights since 2009 while the defensive-minded point guard played in Europe. He's now set for the ride of his life as he'll ride the pine on the NBA's three-ring circus.

The Heat have waived guard Patrick Beverley.
Beverley was useful as a healthy body during training camp, but wasn't going to find a niche in Miami's rotation during the regular season. It's possible that he'll latch on as a backup guard with another team, or head back overseas.

The Bulls are reportedly interested in guard Patrick Beverley, who was recently waived by the Heat.
They're also considering bringing back John Lucas, who they released, but neither player would have fantasy value in Chicago.

The Rockets still intend to sign G Patrick Beverley.
Beverley has inked a three-year contract, but the club is just waiting for FIBA clearance. Once that happens, the Rockets will have to open a roster spot to officially add him to the team.

www.nba.com/rockets/rockets-sign-beverleyThe Rockets have assigned Patrick Beverley to their D-League affiliate, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Beverley accepted the assignment like a vet, saying, "I've been playing in Ukraine, Greece, Russia. I can play a couple hours away if need be."

Rockets recall G Patrick Beverley from the D-League.
Jeremy Lin is nursing an ankle sprain, but Beverley was going to join the Rockets before too much longer regardless of Lin's status.

Patrick Beverley scored eight points on 3-of-8 shooting (including two threes) with three rebounds, two assists, three steals, and one block in 17 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Beverley appears to have taken over the backup PG slot, as Toney Douglas was a DNP-CD tonight. Unless something happens to Jeremy Lin or James Harden, Beverley belongs on the waiver wire unless he can carve out a role for himself.

Patrick Beverley got his first start for the Rockets and then saw teammate Jeremy Lin leave with a chest injury before going off for 16 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, two steals, a block and two 3-pointers on 7-of-13 shooting in 41 minutes of Wednesday's tough Game 2 loss to the Thunder.
Beverley got the start tonight and did his best to get in the head of Russell Westbrook, and was also amazing on the offensive glass with five of them. And while the Thunder are clearly in the driver's seat in this series, they're also acutely aware of just who Beverley is after this performance. And if Lin is out again for Game 3, Beverley is going to have another big game.

Patrick Beverley started over Jeremy Lin again on Saturday and racked up 19 points, five rebounds, three assists, four steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers on 6-of-13 shooting.
We've been pimping Beverley pretty hard this season and he finally came through with the big line we've been waiting for. And now that he's healthy and starting again, it's time to get him back in your lineup. And if he was dumped in your league and still sitting out there, it's time to pick him up.
