From RotoWorld:
Single-A Palm Beach's Jesse Todd allowed one hit over five scoreless innings and struck out nine on Thursday.
Todd is 3-0 with a 0.87 ERA and a 25/4 K/BB ratio in 20 2/3 innings. In part because he's a short right-hander, most seem to assume he'll end up in the pen. However, his fastball-slider combo should play anywhere and he is working on a changeup.

Not necessarily a big day, but piling up a big week. Walker went 2-4 with a 2B and RBI Thursday after going 3-4 on Wednesday. His average had slipped below .200, but is now back up to .339.
Saturday night...add a 2-4 with a solo HR, AVG up to .349.

In the 1996-99 time frame, he was one of the most feared hitters in minor league baseball. He was every bit the equal of Lance Berkman and Troy Glaus as they came up through the minors at the same time. The Royals were pretty steady at first base and third base at the time. In 2000, he was scheduled for an August or September call-up to the Royals. He did an interview in Colorado Springs about steroid use in baseball in which he said that he'd seen teammates shoot themselves in the butt with steroids, but that making the show or a million dollars wasn't worth dying at 40 to him. Rick Reilly of SI included the quote in his backpage column that he did on steroids. The day after the magazine came out, Kit was suspended for the remainder of the season for conduct detrimental to the team. After that, he had a hard time. He had a brief late-season call-up with the Royals in 2002 but Ken Harvey was their golden boy by that time. The Rockies picked him up and he played a season with them. He basically lost two of his most important years from late 2000- late 2002 fighting the black ball label. By the time the dust had settled, he was 28 with no Major League experience, too old to be considered a prospect anymore. The guy can flat hit and has done everything the right way. He's one of the guys that would play for free as long as he has somewhere to sleep and a bite to eat. That's why he's still hanging around playing in whatever league will pick him up.

Thanks for the link, Dale, that would have been much easier. I was trying to catch CL4MVP up off the top of my head.
