 Re: Felix Jones news
« Result #1 Today at 8:33pm »

Felix Jones rushed six times for six yards and caught three passes for 13 yards in Sunday's loss to the Giants.

The Cowboys did their best to get Jones in space, but it wasn't happening. He couldn't even get a full head of steam going on screen passes. Jones has a nice matchup with the Chargers next week, but would still be a weak flex play.

Some people think baseball is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

And that ball's hit deep to left! EIBNER ties it with a 2-run homer in the 9th! Holy Cow!

7 carries for 47 yards in mop up duty. If i remember correctly, they were all 7 in a row and the defense knew it was coming and couldn't stop him. Running people over, breaking tackles, fighting for the 1st down, etc.

« Result #4 Today at 7:25am »

Joe Johnson exploded for 31 points on Saturday, going 13-of-24 from the field with seven rebounds, three assists and one steal.

The Mavericks backcourt couldn't handle Johnson's size, strength and athleticism, and they're not alone. He'll have a few quiet nights when a teammate (usually Jamal Crawford) gets hot, but normally he's Atlanta's default go-to guy.

Bulls guard Jannero Pargo recently visited a hip specialist, but the source of his pain isn't entirely clear.

Pargo said the Bulls' physician believes the problem is muscular, while the specialist thinks it could be a bone-on-bone issue. "We're going to try some medication and more rehab for two weeks," Pargo said. "If it doesn't get any better, then we'll take further action, which may involve sitting down for a while."

« Result #7 Yesterday at 7:09am »

Jannero Pargo played through his hip injury Friday, scoring nine points.

He could be on the verge of being shut down with the injury, but had three boards, two assists and two threes tonight, as he continues to get run in the absence of Kirk Hinrich, who continues to sit with a thumb injury.
